We want to make sure your pet’s stay is as fun as can be so we make sure that they are taken out once every couple of hours to exercise, roam and romp on our WoofTop deck. They do their ‘business’ outside just like they are used to doing at home. There is nothing like fresh air and sun! On warmer days we bring out the doggie pools for wading and cooling.
Citizen Canine accepts only non-aggressive dogs that must be neutered/spayed if over six months old and are current with Rabies, Parvo/Distemper and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccines. Citizen Canine wants to ensure that your dog is the right fit so we have a free 5 hour PlayCare trial. This lets us evaluate your dog’s temperament and help your dog become familiar with our staff, facility and other dogs. When they come back the next time their tails will be wagging in excitement to join in on all the familiar fun!

CC dogs are all different sizes; therefore, we separate them into appropriate, supervised groups so that they can have the most enjoyable experience with their friends.

Transportation Rates
Important Notice: Transportation Service will be temporary suspended effective January 1, 2022 until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience. Check back for updates.
Pick up and drop off is an additional $12 each way. We will pick up and drop off anywhere from Irving Park to the Gold Coast, and Lakeshore Drive to Western Ave. We may consider further distances upon request for an additional fee. Call for details. There is no extra charge for transportation for 2nd dog from same family/household.
Day Stay
Day stay is an alternative to daycare for our less social guests who can’t be home alone or need a little more individual time with a CC team member. They’ll enjoy their own private room for the day, as well as outings to stretch their legs, get fresh air and take potty breaks. Standard daycare rates apply.
